This process begins with prayer and to do it right takes about two months of discussions and preparation. The due date to submit an application will be announced.
Work the 2024 Spring Emmaus Retreat
This process begins with your application to the Team Selection Committee asking them to consider you on a work team for Men or Women.

The 3d “Roles & Responsibilities” Training was greatly appreciated by all participants.
A heartfelt thank you to Mike Kernaghan, our Grace Board Treasurer, for preparing and providing this invaluable training.
The Team Meetings for the Spring Emmaus Retreats were well attended and productive.
The First Team Meeting was held on Saturday, February 17, 2024
The Second Team Meeting Was held on Saturday, March 23, 2024
The community gathering and pot luck was held on Dec. 2nd, 2023
We were blessed with 9 pilgrims from the October Emmaus Retreats attending and sharing some of their experiences and desires to give back to the community by working the upcoming retreats. The food was very tasty with a special round of applause going to the mac-n-cheese.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in the 2023 Fall Emmaus Retreats!
The most recent Men’s and Women’s Emmaus Retreats were held in October and had 17 participants and over 70 workers. The retreats were held at San Ramon Valley, United Methodist Church in Alamo, CA.
Our Gathering held in May of 2023 set attendance records.
We had a beautiful gathering in Gilroy on Saturday, May 20 with all of the women pilgrims in attendance and 30 community members. We’re back!
The 2023 April and May Emmaus Retreats were successful.
Our recent Emmaus Retreats were wonderful and we thank the Lay Directors and their teams for getting us going again after a three-year world-health break. We are looking forward to retreats, possibly this fall in the North Bay area. Come join us for a community gathering and pot luck.
